Lou Gramm

Lou Grammatico from Rochester NY where he still resides, became Lou Gramm of Foreigner once he joined the band and became one of the top rock vocalists of the late 1970s and 1980s. Circus magazine in 1978 upon release of "Hot Blooded" commented that Lou Gramm had a voice that Robert Plant might envy. His unique vocals have made Foreigner one of Billboard's Top 100 Artists of All Time in hit songs history. Gramm was the lead vocalist on all of Foreigner's hit songs, including "Feels Like the First Time", "Cold as Ice", "Long, Long Way from Home", "Hot Blooded", "Double Vision", "Blue Morning, Blue Day", "Head Games", "Dirty White Boy", "Urgent", "Juke Box Hero", "Break It Up" and "Say You Will". He co-wrote most of the songs for the band, which achieved two of its biggest hits with the ballads "Waiting for a Girl Like You", which spent ten weeks at #2 on the 1981-82 American Hot 100, and "I Want to Know What Love Is", which was a #1 hit internationally (US & UK) in 1985. Their first 8 singles cracked the Billboard Top 20, (4 went Top 10) making them the first group since the Beatles to achieve this in 1980. Following the band's second album, the wildly successful Double Vision, shifts in personnel began to take place.

By 1987, Foreigner continued to struggle with ongoing internal conflicts. During this period, Gramm released his first solo album, Ready or Not, which received critical acclaim and contained a top five hit single with "Midnight Blue". This was followed by the late-1987 Foreigner album Inside Information, which reached number 15 on Billboard's album chart. The extracted "Say You Will" was released late that year, reaching number 6 on the Hot 100 early in 1988, and "I Don't Want to Live Without You" followed, reaching number 5 on the Hot 100 and number one on the adult contemporary chart in the spring. A third single, "Heart Turns to Stone" reached number 56 in the summer. Eventually a second solo effort, Long Hard Look, that included the top ten hit, "Just Between You and Me", and "True Blue Love", reached the Top 40. In May 2013, Triumph Books released Gramm's autobiography Juke Box Hero: My Five Decades in Rock 'n' Roll.

Asia featuring John Payne

John Payne became the frontman of the supergroup ASIA in 1992 at the invitation of keyboardist Geoff Downes, replacing vocalist/bassist John Wetton. With John Payne fronting the band, ASIA released 8 stunning studio albums and several live recordings. Asia's debut album Asia, released in March 1982, gained considerable commercial success, spending nine weeks at number one on the United States album chart and selling over four million copies in the States alone. The album sold over 10 million copies worldwide and has never been out of print. The singles "Heat of the Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell" became Top 40 hits. The band's best performing single, and perhaps their most recognized and popular hit song, "Heat of the Moment", spent six weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Album Rock Tracks chart and climbed to No. 4 on the Hot 100. In the United States the band sold out every date on their debut tour, which began at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York [14] on 22 April 1982 and continued in theatres but quickly expanded into massive arenas because of high ticket demand. Asia would go on to receive a Grammy Award nomination as Best New Artist of 1982. Both Billboard and Cash Box named Asia's debut the No. 1 album of the year. On the 9th of May 2006, John Payne, Geoff Downes, John Wetton, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe contractually agreed that John Payne would continue his 14-year legacy with ASIA as "ASIA Featuring John Payne". ASIA Featuring John Payne has been touring in North America since 2008.

Junkyard Heights

Junkyard Heights started as an acoustic cover trio called Wheelhouse in 2018. they had such great success playing together, that they casually decided to start writing some original material. Once again, their chemistry shined through, from the stage, now to the studio. As the material started to flow, the trio continued to write. With many different influences, Junkyard Heights prides itself on being a multi-genre band. With songs like Rusty Truck, which has a roots rock meets blues vibe, to The End of the End, that shows an alternative influence. Plus songs like Junkyard Dog , Out the Window Pain and Cherry Pop which are straight-up blues rock tunes, and Train to the Morning Sun lean heavily toward country. It's the flexible, diversified approach that makes Junkyard Heights the band that they are. With Craig Charles as lead vocalist and lyricist, Brian Swan as guitarist/songwriter and Kevin Hamm as bass player, songwriter and mix mastering genius. On drums, is Trinity Cymbals-sponsored drummer, Joe Weston. The latest addition to the band is the fantastic guitar player, Jon Weeks. Junkyard Heights is currently in the studio, working on new material.
